Peace, Glorious Peace!

IMG_3846When were you last silenced by the reality of unmet expectations?  Does your past hold negative judgment for your best efforts?  Do you remember a time when sting of toxic words cut you to the core?  If your like most of us, it probably wasn’t that long ago.  So, what was your response?  Did you curl up in a ball and cry until morning, or did you become bitter and angry with the perpetrator and the world around you?   Were you weakened, in your flesh, by the failure, negativity, and hurt?  Did you give up a cause, your marriage, or an occupation?   If so, you’ve joined the ranks of millions in the army of darkness, whose leader wants to destroy you.  Look up!!!   Remember who you truly belong to and desert this army immediately!!!  Don’t look back!  Hebrews 13:14 “for this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our everlasting home in heaven.

Just run until you see the arms of the Father that are open wide and jump with abandonment and trust.  With you, bring the unmet expectations, your tired efforts, and your pain and grief from those words of disillusionment and He will take it on upon Him and you will feel peace for the first time in a long time.  Romans 15:13: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

You will be caressed and comforted by His love and you will be granted mercy and grace for your part of the chaos that brought you to your knees.  He is the healer.  He is God, Jehovah, your King and mine.  Never underestimate His power or His glory.  Receive peace and healing today through the matchless name of Jesus!  John 16:33: “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
